God had a secret and revealed it to His Blessed Mother through the Angel Gabriel: “The Angel of the Lord declared unto Mary, and she conceived of the Holy Spirit.” This divine secret was the Mystery of the Incarnation.
Mary, in turn, also has a secret, as taught by Saint Louis de Montfort in his work The Secret of Mary.
To understand this secret, it is necessary to grow in intimacy with Our Lady. To this end, the course proposes six simple steps, presented in six lessons:
1st – Mary, Mediatrix of All Graces
2nd – Mary, Beloved Daughter of God the Father
3rd – Mary, Admirable Mother of God the Son
4th – Mary, Faithful Spouse of the Holy Spirit
5th – The Early Church, Pentecost, and Our Lady
6th – The Death and Assumption of the Virgin Mary
First, we will discover—through Sacred Scripture, Tradition, and the Magisterium—who is the “author” of devotion to Our Lady and how the Blessed Virgin Mary exercises her role as Mediatrix among men.
Next, we will reflect on Our Lady’s profound relationship with the Three Persons of the Most Holy Trinity, recognizing her place in the divine plan conceived by God from all eternity.
We will also consider Mary’s role in the Early Church and at Pentecost. As Mother of the Church, she gave birth to the Son of God by the power of the Holy Spirit and, through the same Spirit, cooperates in bringing forth the members of His Mystical Body. Thus, the infant Church is, in a certain sense, cradled in Mary’s maternal care.
Finally, we will examine the question of Mary’s death—how, when, and where it may have occurred—in light of her Assumption into Heaven.
Mary desires to form new children of God, just as she formed her Divine Son. She is, as it were, the “mould of God,” shaping souls according to His will. To discover her secret, one must enter into a true relationship of intimacy with her.
