She was a beautiful girl, daughter of two Saints, with a strong temperament and unbeatable determination. At the age of 15, following the example of her older sisters, she entered the Carmelite convent, but not before facing opposition from the Church itself because of her young age.

Unbeatable, she dared to take her case personally to the Holy Father in a desperate attempt to achieve her goal.

This is Thérèse of Lisieux, our beloved St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus and of the Holy Face. She had a short life, in which she faced many sufferings and setbacks. She died of tuberculosis at the age of 24. Nevertheless, before her death, she left us the treasure of the Little Way of spiritual childhood, which teaches us to become simple and little in order to reach Heaven.
