In the apparitions of Fatima, Our Lady made revelations and warnings about the punishments that would come if people did not convert, leading a life of piety and prayer, and recommended the daily recitation of the Rosary.

A few years later, she transmitted to Sister Lucia the Devotion of the Five First Saturdays in reparation for the offenses committed against her Immaculate Heart. An important part of this devotion is the meditation on one of the mysteries of the Rosary on that day. This devotion became public in September 1939, and the Heralds of the Gospel practice it with great zeal and affection.

As an incentive to this practice, we have prepared a series of e-books based on the meditations made by our founder, Monsignor João Clá, under the title Meditating on the Mysteries of the Rosary. In this first volume, we present the Joyful Mysteries, which contemplate the Annunciation, the birth, and the childhood of the Child Jesus.
