The ultimate end of human life is eternal salvation, for “what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?” (cf. Mk 8:36). For the Christian, attaining Heaven is the great adventure of life: one’s eternal happiness or misery is at stake, and to enter through the narrow gate, one must know how to act rightly. Human actions must always be good, modeled on the conduct of Our Lord, whom we are called to imitate. Evil, in turn, must be avoided and fought against, so that each baptized soul may bear abundant and lasting fruits in Christ, for the glory of the Father.
In this course, more than answering speculative questions, the aim is to respond to the desire of every earnest Catholic to deepen their understanding of morality, in order to lead an upright life pleasing to God and to crown their existence with the eternal reward. It is offered to those who thirst for holiness and who desire not only to know, but to put into practice the Commandments of God, perfected in the New Testament through the doctrine and example of the Divine Master.
Alongside theoretical principles, the course includes fitting examples and teachings drawn from the Fathers of the Church, the saints, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and the most renowned Doctors. In this way, it seeks to enlighten the intellect, inspire the soul, and move the will toward the good.
The course is divided into four modules, beginning with a general introduction and covering each of the Commandments.
The Most Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother and Teacher, is the patroness of this course. Through her intercession, students may allow themselves to be formed in her hands, becoming true imitators of her Divine Son.
