Saints Basil and Emmelia (†349 and 372). A virtuous couple of Cappadocia (present-day Turkey), they instructed their ten children in the path of perfection, four of whom are venerated at the altars: Saint Basil the Great, Saint Gregory of Nyssa, Saint Peter of Sebaste, and Saint Macrina.
