Fructuosus, bishop (†665). Descended from a noble Visigothic family, after being a monk and founder of cenobitic monasteries, he was elected bishop of Dume and finally appointed metropolitan bishop of Braga by the Fathers of the Tenth Council  of Toledo, governing this Church and his monasteries simultaneously with the greatest prudence. His holiness and apostolic work extended throughout the Iberian Peninsula.
