Saint Damien de Veuster, priest (†1889). A Belgian religious of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary. For sixteen years, he was priest, physician, and father to the lepers on the island of Molokay, Hawaii. He died a victim of that disease.
