Blessed Clement August Graf von Galen, bishop (†1946). As bishop of Münster, Germany, he reflected before the people and clergy the Gospel image of the Good Shepherd. He fought openly against the errors of National Socialism and the violation of human and Church rights. For his courage he was called “the Lion of Münster.”
