Saints André de Soveral and Ambrósio Francisco Ferro, priests, and 28 companions—the protomartyrs of Brazil (†1645). These two priests were massacred by Calvinists and Indigenous people, along with nearly two hundred of their parishioners; only 30 of them could be identified.
