The beauty and solemnity of the sacred liturgy took on a special radiance on October 4, 2026, at the Heralds of the Gospel seat in Maringá, Paraná. During a solemn Eucharistic celebration presided over by Fr. Lucas Garcia, new altar servers were officially instituted for service at the altar, taking on the sublime responsibility of assisting in the holy mysteries.

The ceremony marked a milestone in the spiritual formation of these young people, who responded enthusiastically to the call to serve God from the very dawn of their lives, with the altar as their school of virtue and holiness.

The church, filled with the faithful and family members, was moved as it witnessed the commitment made by the altar servers, who promised to fulfill their duties with piety, respect, and dedication.

In times when the sacred is often devalued, seeing young people dedicate themselves so wholeheartedly to the service of the altar is a comforting sign of the Church’s vitality and the effectiveness of divine grace in the new generations.
