More than 6,000 people participated in two days of prayer and devotion to Our Lady at Holy Family Church, which belongs to the Archdiocese of Bangalore, India.
The photos show the church filled to capacity and bear witness to the remarkable Marian devotion within Bangalore’s Catholic community, as well as the unity of the faithful in prayer and the Eucharist.
On the first day, the community gathered to pray the Rosary of 1,000 Hail Marys. During the gathering, the participants remained united in the expression of their faith, offering their intentions and tributes to the Blessed Virgin.
On Sunday, the faithful gathered once again at the Church of the Holy Family for the celebration of Holy Mass, presided over by Fr. Susairaj, together with other priests.
The celebration was marked by devotion to Our Lady of Fatima, to whom the participants offered the simplest and most heartfelt expressions of faith. This is clear proof that Marian devotion is universal, encompassing different peoples and cultures, and knows no borders.
