On Sunday, September 27, the Monastery of the Heralds of the Gospel in Moreno (PE) became a gathering place for more than five hundred pilgrims from various regions for a moment of extraordinary spiritual grace: the celebration of Sunday Mass with the veneration of the relics of St. Pio of Pietrelcina.
The ceremony, which began at 10:00 a.m., took place in an atmosphere of solemn contemplation and supernatural joy. The presence of the distinguished relics of the stigmatized saint—whose priestly life was entirely consecrated to the altar, to the guidance of souls, and to the alleviation of human suffering—stirred deep emotion among the participants.
During the homily and moments of prayer, the faithful were invited to contemplate Padre Pio’s example of fidelity and heroic patience, seeking through his intercession the strength to face daily challenges and growth in their prayer life.
At the conclusion of the liturgy, those present had the opportunity to devoutly approach the relics on display, entrusting their intentions, prayers, and requests for healing and reconciliation.
The significant number of devotees in attendance reflects the ardent veneration that the people of Pernambuco pay to Saint Pio of Pietrelcina, renewing their hearts in Eucharistic fervor and filial love for God.
