What can be said about Saint Joseph? Consider his mission: chosen to be the true Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the masterpiece of all creation, the Queen of Angels, the Mother of God; chosen to be the true virginal Father of Jesus Christ, the Word Incarnate, the King of kings and the Lord of lords; chosen to be the Patriarch and Protector of the Holy Catholic Church.

The greatest of all saints after Mary, St. Joseph is also a father to each one of us. As the father of Christ, he is likewise the father of the Mystical Body of Christ, the Church.

Msgr. João Clá Dias, Founder of the Heralds of the Gospel, affirmed that devotion to St. Joseph is more important in our days than ever before. As the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary approaches, as promised by Our Lady at Fatima in 1917, the role of the Universal Patron of the Church becomes ever more urgent. He has a special mission in our times and in the future, particularly in the restoration of the original splendor of Holy Mother Church.

In this course, The Life and Glories of St. Joseph, Fr. François Bandet leads you on a spiritual journey into the heart of the mystery of St. Joseph’s providential role: in the Incarnation and Redemption, in the life of the Church, in the future battles of Christianity, and in the life of each one of us.
