Module presentation 1 - The Ten Commandments of the Decalogue

“I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse” (Deut 30:19).

In this first module of The Ten Commandments Explained, the essential principles of fundamental morality are presented and explored: the human act, conscience, freedom, virtuous acts, sinful acts, mortal and venial sin, natural law, virtues, and vices—all in the light of Sacred Scripture and the Magisterium of the Church.

With clarity and depth, this module provides the necessary foundations to understand the moral life and to make upright choices, guiding the soul along the path that leads to true life.

In the light of the Beatitudes, we should try to convince ourselves of the need to lead a virtuous life, based on a serious spirituality, with the important roles of meditation and prayer.
