Church: The Teacher of Truth was the theme of the Thomistic Congress held on August 7 and 8 at the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary complex in Caieiras (SP), and that of the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima in Embu das Artes (SP).

Daily Eucharists, conferences, workshops, roundtables, and musical performances, interspersed with pleasant fellowship, were part of the intense programme.

Thomistic thought concerning truth – considered in its relation to contemporary philosophy, to psychotherapy, to the virtue of charity, and to human life, among other perspectives – as well as the teaching mission entrusted to the Church, were some of the topics covered.

Among the speakers was Fr. Ignacio Andereggen, professor at several pontifical universities.
