On August 29 and 30, the neighborhoods belonging to the Parish of the Most Holy Sacrament of Recoleta in Asunción, Paraguay, welcomed a Marian Mission that brought the image of Our Lady of Fátima to the families.

Over the weekend, the missionaries went from house to house in the communities with the image of the Blessed Virgin. During each visit, residents had the opportunity to welcome Our Lady into their homes and participate in moments of prayer.

Our Lady Among the Children

On Saturday, the 29th, the mission also arrived at the Santa Lucía Chapel, which belongs to the same parish. There, the image of Our Lady was crowned.

Following the moment of Marian devotion, missionaries and community members shared a snack with the children, extending the gathering in an atmosphere of fraternal fellowship.

Solemn Coronation of the Pilgrim Image

After touring the neighborhoods and visiting families, the Marian Mission culminated at the Santíssimo Sacramento da Recoleta Parish with the solemn coronation of the Pilgrim Image of Our Lady of Fatima.

The Holy Mass was presided over by Fr. Kirthan Carlo, EP, and concelebrated by Fr. Darío Rodríguez, the parish priest of the community.

The coronation brought to a close the two days of activities, during which the Pilgrim Image of Our Lady went out to meet the faithful, entering their neighborhoods and homes and uniting the community around devotion to the Mother of God.
