The Prince of Theology, Saint Thomas Aquinas, teaches that “the whole world and all it contains is of less value before God than the grace in a single soul.” He further explains that “grace is nothing other than a certain participated likeness of the divine nature.” Thus, those who live in the state of grace belong, in a certain sense, to the very family of God—a thought beautifully expressed by the great theologian Matthias Joseph Scheeben.

What is grace? It is a reality so sublime that, if we truly understood its value, we would be willing to give up everything to acquire it and preserve it (cf. Mt 13:44).

In this course, the meaning of grace is explained according to the teachings of the Fathers and Doctors of the Church. You will also discover what the supernatural life of grace in the soul truly signifies and how it transforms our relationship with God.

All this and more is presented in this course dedicated to the greatest gift God grants us: His divine grace.
