The hour of the holocaust one makes of oneself to God is the most sublime moment in a man’s life. It is, consequently, the moment in which he is willing to face supreme risks for a true and extremely high ideal.

It is the moment in which he presents himself to suffer all that he must suffer, ready to stagger in pain under the cross, as Our Lord did, contributing to the fulfilment of history and of God’s plan for humanity.
